Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world, at 12,600. It straddles the border between Peru and Bolivia. These photos are or the marshes at the margins of the lake. In the winter, the temperatures would range from about 35ºF to 70ºF during the day, with maybe 15% humidity. We never saw a cloud in the sky. The winter there is the dry season. In Puno and near and around the lake, we never saw any trees. Too high, too dry.
