In Philadelphia, we have had a range of Mid-Atlantic winter weather. A hard snow storm (but only about 5-7 inches) Thursday night, followed by weather going down close to 0 F by Friday night, then yesterday, warmer weather and blue skies, and freezing rain today. I went out into my yard for these photos. Tomorrow I will show some photos I took from my back 2nd floor window during the snowstorm.

Here are a grouping of photos I made over a few minutes. Cold and wet outside.

Peter

And to think we complain when the temperature hovers round zero (Centigrade), or 32, in old money...

Natures created some fine sculptures for you to capture Peter. V2 would make a great mobile. Grin Peter.

A great collection Peter - I'm so glad that we don't (at present) have this in my part of the world!

Never seen anything like it before - usually it would just be snow! Very well taken - it's pretty chilly here too if that helps at all!

More dangerous than snow - much heavier!
Brings power lines down easily.

Fine nature studies, Peter. I like all versions in different ways, but perhaps especially vs 3 and 4. You are certainly having some extreme weather. Great for pics, but mighty cold... Smile

Thanks, Peter. Anytime it gets too warm on my balcony, I can nip indoors and take a look at these 'chillers' Wink
V1, with ice wrapping itself around the branches will especially cool my blood - that's a stunning image.
Just a wee note of Thanks for the great comment you left on Lunch 34.

Great set of pictures, up to now we haven't had any snow this Winter, but usually when you guys over the pond get it, we get it 3 weeks later
