The train that follows a narrow gauge railroad from Cuzco to Puno (on Lake Titicaca) travels over 350 km. through some spectacularly scenic country. It peaks out at over 14,000 feet (excuse the mixed measuring). Going through the Andes, some of it looks like Navajo Country in the American Southwest, except that there are not only sheep, but alpacas, llamas, and vicunas. There is an observation car at the back of the train, where the photographers hang out.
