A continuation of yesterday's imagery, more directly. A landscape changes when there are windmills, and I find a kind of graceful, stately beauty in them. And, in today's world, we cannot keep burning fossil fuels. We MUST convert our energy production, ultimately, to be 100% sustainable--wind, solar, geothermal, hydro, wave, etc.

And Vinalhaven from the water is exceptionally beautiful. Best seen from the water. My on the water landscapes are shot from my friend Robert's two person kayak.

I totally agree with you concerning moving away from burning fossil fuels Peter !! A lovely image indeed - the trees soften the impact of the turbines here Smile

I think view 2 is your strongest image composition wise---

We have been observing our Amish neighbors closely-- as they appear to be living off the grid--- interesting how it "sort" of works----
