We have a big winter storm just starting right now. I was supposed to drive up to Massachusetts on a delivery and to see clients about some new furniture. A beautiful day today, but with a winter storm coming in that I would have been driving home in tomorrow, the women in my life convinced me to postpone.
Our backyard opens into the parking lot of the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. in the last storm, the steel manhole cover must have been warmer than the pavement, and the snow not too deep at that time. Seemed like a somewhat surreal image. V2, closer. V3, well that is self explanatory, taken in the Berkshires two weekends ago out the back deck of John and Karen's house (more photos from that trip coming...). V4, the playgoing of the PA School for the Deaf in the winter, a pristine, and kind of lonely and unused scene.
