So, in early winter of 2012, my wife, stepson and I went to Madison, Wisconsin to visit her parents.....and it was cold with snow. Karen and I went out into an arboretum connected to the U of Wisconsin after a snow to find some images. While some of us (I am thinking of you, Jenn), yearn for a big snow, I can remember....and wait and hope for this winter.

Lot of people snowed in on your side of the pond Peter. Love the colour in V1. Grin Peter.

All that snow, but it can't dim the vibrance of the red berries, giving the whole scene some life!

Although I live in London I am from Portugal. Never seen deep snow like that! (Not even in London)
Love V1, it would make the most beautiful Xmas card! What a marvelous image! Grin

Some photos just make the effort of getting out there in the cold worthwhile. Dare I say, "Cool." Great colour.
