This photo was shot in RAW and bracketed =/- 1 stop. Used photoshop and blend modes to render the sky darker and added a vignette, also used levels to boost the mid tones. Any suggestions on how I can improve this image would be nice.

The only thing I can suggest would have been to use a polarizing filter, which would have rendered the sky darker and cut the reflections on the stream This is a beautiful composition. The single tree makes it.

It's a classic scene and well composed. Peter's right about the polariser (I never have mine off my wide angle lens!) and I think with the flat light you had, you've done the best you could.

Just a note that a polarizing filter would not work as expected here without direct Sunlight. It would however work as an ND filter.
