Hello everyone! I joined some time back but am just now getting around to doing anything here. I am really looking forward to sharing and learning with everybody.

I am a long time amateur who over the years has fallen in and out of love with photography a few times. I usually fall out love with photography when it starts costing me more money than I have. Non-the-less I continue to get excited about the possibility of capturing the next image that makes me understand why I fell in love with the art in the first place.
I am completely self taught and I'm afraid it shows more often than not. That is primarily due to my lack of self discipline.
I am quickly approaching retirement and looking forward to possibly searching out some formal training.
