Hi EPZ’rs

Thanks for looking at my last upload and for the useful comments.

After 41/2 hours wandering around Long Valley with Richard (Mossyoak) yesterday, searching in vain for the elusive Dartford Warblers and finding none.

I spent most of the day behind Richard spotting for him and not really being able to get close enough for any real good close shots. If you have seen the size of his equipment you will know what I mean.

Anyway we approached a small lake and disturbed this male Linnet that luckily for me decided to stop on this gorse bush within easy snapping distance. I say lucky because I was at the front this time as we walked up the slope, and Richard missed any shots as I stopped in front of him and rattled off a couple.

I hope you like them as much as I do, large may be worth a view too.

Cheers
Paul

Very pleased to make this 30 Paul....sob sob
You just had to remind me didn't you...lol
Also please don't mention the size of my equipment or re-phrase it...lol
Ok down to the Linnet shots....errmmmm
Fantastic, always a difficult bird to get close to and the cammo and stealth approach must have worked here for the closeness.
Terrific detail and plumage saturation Paul and the tops to a great day. Missy is still asleep Mate
Richard
PS I took too long writing so make it a well earnt 32
