Hi all, thanks for the comments/votes on Missy, as always much appreciated.
Today, I have selected this tired looking Blue Tit. We sat at the feed station for several hours and this little chap and his partner were constant visitors. It was amazing to watch them both flitting between the nest to our left about ten feet and then to the feed station and back again. I have no idea how many young they were raising but by the look of the pair of them it must have been a lot because clearly they do not have time to spruce themselves up, they both looked in the same condition.
Please view large for the full impact of his state. Clearly I am aiming for the sympathy vote on this upload. LOL.
Cheers
Paul

Oh dear, poor little chap. We've got a pair of robins nesting in the garden and the work they do all day long...phew! Lovely capture!
Well worth waiting for - busy little birds at the best of times. Just goes to show that looks aren't everything.
a lot of birds are looking worn and weary now Paul and you have captured this one exactly - is how I feel today with the hot weather
Poor little thing it does look worn out
Nice capture
