My intention was to photograph a Dragonfly face on but try to get as much in focus as possible. To enable me to do this I took ten shots and then stacked them in CS.
I would appreciate any constructive comments on my efforts.
Thanks for taking the time to have a look.
Paul

Good to see you uploading again Paul & what a comeback
Has the WOW factor for me mate, the detail is immaculate.
I would only suggest you show the whole wing both of them, as you have cut it short and I dont see the purpose - if you want close and the dragonfly face on I think perhaps, crop more of the wings which would seem a shame, other than this its a great shot well detailed and they dont come much better IMHO
10 Shots each with different focal planes, of something this small and busy? Then stacked together. Brilliant result and really quite skillful. Bravo!
An amazing macro image lots of detail, how did you get to stay still that long to get 10 shots?

Brilliant...I took a shot of a chaser today, my 1st attempt. Someone mentioned stacking to me and I would not have a clue...but I can see by the end result that it needs very careful consideration !!
