Same woman as last night's....

Vietnamese central highlands, a settlement near Lak Lake. A wonderful & much unvisited area by the masses of backpackers/tourists.

As mentioned on yesterday's upload, she's been smoking a pipe for 70 odd years. She's 97 & appears fit as a fiddle - amazing constitution.

Whacked the ISO up for these to use the natural light as much as possible.

Thanks for looking in, feel free to c&c...

Lovely shot Alan, personally would of liked a depth of field that included pipe and her neck, but as you were struggling for light and I know myself you want to get on and do it as quick as possible while everyone is willing and happy, but looks like you gained a bit of trust and she was happy to sit, and its a lovely capture.

Pooch.

Another fantastic capture of this lady. Small niggle in that I'm finding the blown out highlights on her hand and shoulder a bit distracting - have you tried cropping just to the right of her shoulder and above her hand to lose those bright spots? Still an absolutely stunning shot though Smile
