Gorgeous photo of a gorgeous woman. Good work on the eyes especially.
I am not so sure.....have seen Monika in many guises and she is a top, top class model, superb to work with. But for me, as much as the light and the angle are excellent, it seems a touch "over" processed to me. Forgive me if its your style, its not a criticism, but she works much better as a "natural" model, with her natural beauty shining through. For me, its a touch too smoothed and sharpened and tends to make her look a little like a mannequin.....don't get me wrong, I love everything about this shot in terms of light, her, the idea and thought that is gone into it. Just maybe, for my own tastes, pushed the processing a little too far. Forgive me negative comments, I really do like this......
Hi John, You wont believe why I have joined the EPZ! mainly because I can learn from ppl and can sell my unwantes/spare things but mainly to learn and share, therefore your critism is valuable to me and of course not negative!! so please do not feel that way and do comment on my image whatever you think! don't forget we all have our own style as you just mention but that doesen't mean one can not learn from each other! besides, we are human! so we do make error... regardless how clever we are and how good at our job. So, thank you for your coment.

No problem Harry and thank you for taking my comment in the way it was meant. Things can get very heated when everything gets typed and the "meaning" of what you are saying is lost....I am definitely no expert myself and also the very reason I joined EPZ was the same as you....to learn. I have learned a lot and made big strides but still feel I fall short compared to some on here. But I feel that I might be able to help in some way, I always try and make it as constructive as possible and not negative and critical in a bad way. So all my comments are meant this way, including the one I put above about this image. A style is a style and while learning, it varies and fluctuates wildly while we all try things differerently until you find something you like, are good at and comfortable with. My point about this image was simply that......its a good image, but not "quite" my style and preference with the processing.....but the image itself is a belter.
So thank you....I always feel bad leaving comments like that in case they DO get taken out of context.....I would never openly criticise in a negative way a fellow tog.....
Please feel free at least with me and leave your honest comments on my images I can always learn something from ppl... if not, at least I will learn how to digest negative comments!! lol...... nice talking to you.
Oh John I am not sure about you but after dealing with different sites in past at least last 15 years, I have noticed from ppl's comments (fron other site) that some time images look so different from computer to computer!! so, as you mentioned earlier, also I am bit hesitate to put any comments because you never know, that could be because of computer variation too! this advise I adopted from "Davrodigital" where I was a member for some time... one of the best site ever I have seen so far (it has changed now anyways) and photographer!!! phew!!! top notch and down to earth.... I am thinking to become a member there again, just waiting for my financial side to become strong!

lol! Yeah, no worries Harry, I totally get what you mean and I know that some monitors and calibrations are very different and can make the images look very strange! 
I don't know of the site you mention, but will check it out. Sounds interesting.....
And by CS, I take it you mean Photoshop? I am using CS3, but to be fair, I don't really use it that much other than for touch up. I tend to do most of my processing in Lightroom.
If this isn't what you mean, my bad! lol!
Ah! Glad I was in the right place! I only have the two, but because I only ever really seem to use LR3, PS has taken a tiny bit of a back seat, so never got round to upgrading. Mind you, not sure there is anything in CS5 that I would need right now. My skills really aren't good enough to justify it! lol!
Great portrait! The model is delicious! A stunning look. Very gently.
