It's hard to define exactly when childhood leaves - loss of innocence & wonder follow. A magical time that fades!

A Lovely picture Hazel and I remember spending hours as a teenager stareing out of windows on rainy days wishing someone would come and cut the chains and release me, sorry just joking honest I escaped easily with my trusty Swiss army knife.

Hi Pooch - Hannah is only nine (my grandchild) & I already see signs of crossing over - I feel sad for her, she doesn't have a clue!

Dont be too sad Hazel becoming an adult has its problems but there are times around then that I would love to do again and lets face it the learning process never stops and thats fun too and its only that us elders who know more from experience, that worry about kids losing their innocence when in fact its theirs to lose and we want things to be perfect and they never are. Blinkin eck I'm not sure if i'm making sense now? I'm such a child! "Hang on just a minuite" ???????????????

Thanks for the smile Pooch. Reality is the world is a scary place now - more than when I was a child. In USA, we now have a tool to check our address to see how many perverts live near, I live in a very nice area & still counted about 50 within a 10 mile radius. Scary!

You are obviously a deeply philosophical person who tries to convey your inner emotions to the outside world....and you do it well !!!
