White Fronted Bee Eater

White Fronted Bee Eater by johnke

Beautiful shot of one of my favourite African birds.

Lovely shot of this. On Orkney last year we saw 4 -two of each sex. Needless to say I didn't get a decent picture - yours reminds me of seeing them.

I just love these and had the pleasure of seeing them. Well caught.

Bittern Boom

What an amazing thing to capture. I always think Bittern look slightly demented!

It would go on my wall too

Excellent illustrations of this church - which I know well.

The Hunter

I like the treatment on this. In UK this is classed as a Gundog- as you probably know it is an English Setter.

BTW I see you live in one of my favourite places.

Actually, she looks a bit bored to me and somewhat unimpressed. Love those teeth!

I love these two interacting. Beautifully caught with a really clean BG. Makes me want to see some again in real life.

Young Leopard at Kruger National Park

Young Leopard at Kruger National Park by jackknottphotos

Welcome back!

Seeing a Leopard is inclined to bring most people's photographic enthusiasm to the fore I reckon.

As a lover of African wildlife I am looking forward to a trip to S. Africa late next year even though I was in Botswana this year - yopu can't see too many Leopards!

Ranthanbore Tiger

Fantastic - right down the throat.

Harvest Mouse

I have a grievance against these at the moment. Surveying for their nests yesterday -freezing cold and backbreaking-all for nothing. (but there are some on the Malvern Hills). Beautiful animals and a great photo - particularly like the tail.
