A new building constructed in conjunction with the old cathedral in Lund as a meeting-point and office for the church. It is a building covered in brass and designed by the Spanish architect Carmen Izquierdo. Pretty nice, isnīt it?

There is a similar combination of ancient and ultra-modern at Norwich Cathedral. I find this intriguing - I wonder how much debate there was, how much opposition? But the result is beautiful.
