Hi. Im NOT technically minded. My heads like a sieve and I struggle to recall technical info, not a good omen for photograpy! I hope to move on from the basic images I produce (also what kit/software etc) without drowning in the confusing tech and jargon.

About Me

I am not an academic and technical information goes in, rattles around a bit and mysteriously vanishes from my head leaving very little evidence if any, that it was ever there.
Metalwork, woodwork and art were my best subjects at school and I remain that way inclined today. I am a woodworker living in the West of Scotland. Still finishing off a house we built over the last 11 years (it is habitable!!) I'm self-employed and married with two boys (born '98 & '02) which has meant my 'own' life and likes (including picture taking) have been put on hold for several years. Hope to start doing something about it.
