A great capture of a 'moment'. Glad to see the other side of the police shown here, most are good guys, just a few (as in any group of humans) spoil and taint the good and thats a shame.
Great image.

Boiling Hells - Blood pond

Boiling Hells - Blood pond by Ayelet_A

What a wonderful image, quite a stunning scene and your description adds so much value to what it is we are seeing. Nice composition. Is that a neon sign in the background? I wouldn't expect to see one here but considering the colour of the scene etc it really works to have one in there.
Belated birthday wishes for you and your Grandma, greatly saddened to hear your still having to go out to work at your age.....what is this world coming to??

Happy birthday

I love the way the pattern of the ripples appear in the decaying timber, almost as if layered. Beautiful rich blues.

Hi Nicholas, a wonderfully inspiring pf.
I was good to read your words on some of the feelings that came through 'warzone'. It is only a wee picture but tells a much bigger story. Thanks for that.
Thanks again for the inspiration too.

There is a 'personal' feel about many especially the human subjects.

My fav? I paticularly like 'Lost memories', a beautiful image.

HI,
Thanks again for your comments.
I'm posting this here so you will see it because I agree with you whole heartedly.

Quote: It tells a great and epic story of long forgotten times.

There are so many worked stones around the world that get no more a glance than a piece of litter despite the many hours and skills, love and passions poured into them. They had real feelings worked into them. Someone was breathing, sweating, laughing, crying, bleeding, and talking about who knows what in who knows what language, gossip, secrets their hopes and dreams. Such a personal history surrounds so many of them yet they get little regard in these modern, mechanical days. Such a shame.
