The last in the series of 'Pear' images...thank goodness I hear you cry Wink
Lit by daylight but this time I used a piece of black card to 'stop' some of the light on the LHS of the image as I wanted to go really quite dark.
I suspect I will go even darker in some parts when this one is commited to the printer, down the lines of the Old Masters kinda thing.

Did you spot the Ladybug ? ..............oh & look...no lace curtains on this one...lol Wink Wink

Thanks for dropping by & your patience with this set of creations.
Janet xx

Hi Brian...yup,no curtains to get in the way this time...they are in the wash...manky indeed !!! Wink
Dunno if I like this one, as it is here, the best, the really dark version is the way forward for me but I don't think it would project very well on here...has to be a print methinks.

Go on put a couple of bob in that print machine fire it up and get it printed, you can always clean the printer later with those manky curtains LOL

Super how you matched the peach skins to the texture.

Looks good if you dump the highlight on the handle (put a finger over it) , then all those tones show the ladybird working with the hues , comes alive !

Arty farty thing , ignore the ramble x

I appreciate how difficult it is to set up a still life and get lighting right.
This is a fine piece of work.
Must check out your portfolio.

You work light so beautifully. Dave's suggestion about the highlight on the handle seems to be spot on. A beautiful image.
