Saturation amazing. An old judge once said (he was a Tulip grower) 'there are two kinds of flowers, Tulips and non Tulips'. This is obviously a Tulip.

The reason it was the dogs fault was she had been charging around the garden and knocked the tulip over and damaged the stem .so it had to be picked and brought in to photograph. Thats my excuse anyway !
