I like him a lot. 'Just a quick snap shot', but I think you have replaced the background. There's a broken white outline to the hat, which actually works quite well to distinguish it from the background although I would soften it a bit. When the white outline extends down beside the left side of the face it becomes more of a problem I think.

I shall try a Mod, simply softening that line to give a less cut-out feel to the edges.

I'd also like to get a bit of light into his eyes, I'll see what I can do there.

Its good for a quick snap mario.

Some tidying up needed where youve replaced the background, - especially just at the side of his face. You need to get rid of that slight haloo effect all around. Enlage the image as you paint in, and you can get a really good result.

The eyes a little dark, - nothing you could do.

the character looks very interesting.

Ive cleaned up the black selection in the mod, and lifter the eyes a little. Reduced noise just a little.

Regards

Willie

Yes I agree with both of you. I should have given more attention while doing the background.

Please Willie can you explain what you mean by Enlage the image as you paint in. Both Mods are excellent.

Thanks for your support.

The basis of a fine image, but your selection is noticeable and detracts. I would leave off the huge dark frame in this section and the whole image does seem a bit dark. Some work with the dodge tool, perhaps.
