Thank you for the interest and comments on the photos of the colourful Lô Lô women and inside the house.
Driving South from Lung Cu to Dong Van, you go through very spectacular mountain scenery. When you stop to enjoy the view, some kids will just appear from out of nowhere. They just run to out of sheer curiosity to have a look at the “phuong tây” (the westerner)and find out where you’re coming from. They don’t ask for money, they don’t pester you and they are so pleased to see their photo on the back of the camera before running back to their family and telling them what they saw.
Hoping you like the photos,
Jean-Noël

What an interesting spot on the Earth's crust this is, well demonstrated in V 5, showing off the features referred to in the plaque: and so nice to hear of the behaviour of the children of the region.
Yet another excellent set of images, documenting so well aspects of life of the region.
Ronnie.
Stunning scenery ... the cildren jus add to the whole wonderful atmosphere
What an extraordinary set of photos. Love the clarity with whish the children and the nature of the region is depicted, Excellent reportive work. So much in contrast with what I see every day in Afghanistan. I have to say V1 and 3 Well done are the strong ones on the set. Well done.
A super selection of shots Jean Noel, this series has been thoroughly enjoyable to view
