The Grand Cascade is the centre piece at Alnwick Garden. Its water jets are computer controlled. There are pattern changes every half-hour with four different sequences. Unfortunately the computer was on the blink the day we went so we only saw the main centre jets working properly ---maybe next time.......

Good shot. If I might suggest a slow shutter speed with maybe a 0.2 netural density gradient could have given the waterfall a mistier feel.

Not sure if the Nikon can do that though ;/

It looks an interesting place, shame about the fountains not working fully, still a nice shot though,
Chris.

Lovely shot with a perfect lead-line marked by those jets of water. It is deceiving when you go to a place expecting to see something and find that it is not working

Hello Helen and Peter, you have captured such a beautiful water feature and the greenery compliments the jet of water so well. Nice work and have a good evening.

Excellent capture!
I like the composition with this.
A nice strong baseline.
A diagonal with the water jets.
And the curved wall from the left takes the eye up and into the picture.
