A public footpath skirts the local cemetary.
A bird's tracks in the melting snow on an unmarked grave.
A small bear statue stands as it's only marker.
It evoked a huge feeling of sadness.

Interesting pic - love the bird foot prints (obviously they didn't read the writing the tacky looking bear was holding). Mildly touching with a realistic undercurrent.

A sad fact that these have to excisit, but sharp image, maybay slightly overexposed due to snow.

Nice shot of the unmarked grave with the beautiful bear (probably a baby's tomb).
Love the little bear with the undelivered letter on his hands. Love the bird's print on the light blue snow.

Hello Helen and Peter, yes photography can evoke various feelings within ourselves and no doubt there was with you an empty feeling following seeing this...the snow and teddybear setting convey a solemn thought.
