No manipulation - just an observation of a lady walking towards me in torrential rain, though the car window - while I waited to get out!!
Very nice shots Helen. Love the effect that you have got through the wet window. Moira
Very well spotted and captured, and a great presentation, Helen. No rain here for the next 4-5 months . Carol
A great triptych - well spotted and captured
love the presentation helen cracking soggy detail and colours a real cracker like this a lot nice one
Thanks Carol, Ray, Andy and Ann
This really is brilliant ... you never cease to amaze me.
I was caught in that when over the allotment ... dare I say there was even a bit of hail
Good vision - an interesting set of images. A
great and lovely motage.very well done.
Original and ver good Helen.
The water in the car window adds a lovely texture Helen and your presentation is spot on.
Superb - love the increasing distortion as the lady gradually merges with the rhododenrons
I like the progress across the screen - but the right-hand image deserves its own upload, the distortions are wonderful.
Love this! Really well done!
I like the distortion the rain makes.
I really like the effect this has had from the rain on the glass. Excellent observation Helen and capture especially including the walker
Interesting natural distortions here Helen.
Had a bit of a ''freak'' storm here last night.
Hailstones the size of golf balls rained down for a couple of minutes !!
What fun....I like rainy windows, especially when I'm on the inside looking out.
Good eyes, Helen, made you an interesting set of images!
Nice montage Helen, like it, i like the distortion factor.. Peter
What a great effect Helen, at first I thought you'd used photoshop but the effect through the glass and water is excellent, top work.
good one like it a lot all though it did nothing for my eyes they were like a hunting lens nice one
This is all sorts of fun. I particularly like what's happened in the third panel.
Thought you'd been on the plonk whilst processing these, Helen! Great triptych, and love the wibbly-wobbly effect
I've wanted to try that too sometime - it gives a wonderful Impressionist appearance.
Thanks everyone for your comments
This made me chuckle Helen How did you get that blur effect
Shell it was just through the windscreen, but it was just as if a tap had been turned on !!!
That's clever !......how very observant, how quick to capture, how darned brilliant !.....love the distortion from the wet windows....cracking piece of work !!!!!!!!!!
I think the above comment sums it up perfectly Helen - excellent.
It looks as if her umbrella broke up!
Have I already said I like this one?
Many thanks Bill - a lovely surprise to start the day with
So well observed and beautifully captured and presented. My garden could do with a little of your rain. Can't believe I'm saying that, given that so often it seems to rain here in Scotland!
Excellent observational skills Helen, this terrific triptych proves that you don't need fine weather and good light to take a good photograph
