Have a good week - and if you are taking children to school make sure you shut the school gates!!!
For those of you who are concerned that children were in danger in the taking of this photo, it is actually a gate within the playground ![]()

Great shadows and textures, and I love the title and description.
I see notices on houses locally, Never mind the dog, beware of the children!

Dynamic diagonals and great textures makes a lovely shadow image, Helen.

Yes! A fence and gate with steps!
Excellent comp. Helen.

Clever lines and textures here Helen - I like the strong diagonals too!

A great abstract pattern pic, Helen, helped by the sun coming out to play, of course.... ![]()

You're so observant and so good at capturing shadows, Helen.
the well cracked concrete as the backdrop to the strong shadows works well

I like this a lot. Interesting split tone kind of look. Lovely textures and great counterpoint with the rounded ends of the railings and that solid square block of the latch.....and a fine diagonal comp. Could you get some texture in the the topleft triangle? Anyways...well seen and well done.
regards Phil.
Interesting suggestion Phil.
Its strange - its a straight photo and my eye didn't see the need for adding a texture, because I know that its a plant box - but when its a digitally manipulated image I seem to work for hours on getting it right ![]()
