I first took and uploaded a triptych of this fence on 18th November 2007. I've walked by it dozens of times since then and not stopped to look carefully at it again. However this week the detail really jumped out and here it is just over 5 years later.
Incidentally it was interesting to see the number of people who voted on the first image and who are no longer active on the site

I like the different one in the middle - the tones, and the light are different and it catches your eye and makes you stop and take a little extra time viewing it.

And yes, you are right about how many people have left the site - I had a look through my connections the other day to find over 70 that have gone. I am in touch via email with a couple of them though, which is nice. Sometimes it's just time to move on.
