Well I get to put two images up for Mothering Sunday as I was early for the "straight talking" one
This is naturally under the silly Sunday label, but is obviously a link with most Mums.
I pass this so often that I couldn't believe what I had just read at a certain angle, so went back a few steps to take the shot
[v2 is as it was from the camera]

My Mum was an ood cook, and when I think of my favourite foods that she made I particularly remember her Yorkshire puddings, and her pastry [as she had such cold hands]
I wonder what ood food you associate with your mother?
With apologies to the coop WinkWink
Hope all you Mum's have a ood day WinkWink
Helen

Brilliant shot, Helen, and well edited in V1 Wink
I always loved my mum's stew & dumplings, meat & potato pie, jam roly-poly, and rice puddings with skin on the top - I always made sure I got the skin! Grin

Quote: I wonder what ood food you associate with your mother?

Sunday dinner...always a roast (beef, pork chicken or lamb) and always followed by one of her orgeous home-made fruit pies. Apple was always the favourite, but apple & blackberry, rhubarb, raspberry...all according to what was ripe in the garden. And always covered in lashings of double cream.Grin

Excellent work-over from the original, and so well spotted.
