I found a plant in the greenhouse at Kings Heath Gardens yesterday afternoon with leaves that reminded me of pencil sharpening.
A tad calmer than yesterday's - I like variety

An extremely apt title Helen, indeed it does remind one greatly of a pencil sharpening, however I thought it more resembled a piece of felting, which my textile students would make many years ago. Brilliant colour, and the texture, well that is just something else entirely.

Maybe not 'golden' but certainly has the 'ratio'. Lovely detail, Helen.
Retired... huh.... fat chance, but at least there's no planning or reports. My 'retired' wife is taking the year 1s down to our allotment site today
