...........well that's my story and I'm sticking to it
......and they don't come much shorter than this !!!
and many thanks to AnneB50 for her much appreciated UA yesterday.
Your title made me smile....I love your thought process lovely colours and textures
I'm glad you can see there is a process Colleen - others may well doubt it
You always find something creative in subjects that others might just pass by. Lines, shapes, texture, colour and the tiniest shadow. Well done
Very clever a Helen, nicely done!

I totally agree Ann, our Helen has such a good eyes, I would have walked past this without a thought. - gary
A verry well spotted image with great texture
Your words made me think of that tape measure theory. Where you measure how old you are and how old you hope to get. For me there is not many inches left. It really makes you take notice. I see a little doggie profile with it's ear hanging down. Like a spaniel. Too bad that little pebble wasn't where the eye should be.
Color does it in this almost mono!
Just perfect. Because it was there...
You just have the knack and the eye to spot what makes a good image Helen.
Keep coming back to this. The wiggly bit of string is making fun of the stiff, correct vertical line. That's why it's smiling...
Well seen again Helen!
Always an eye for the unusual with a lovley bot of colour here
to add an arty touch.
A wonderful range of textures and tones, Helen. Clever and original work as always - can't wait for the shadows to start lengthening again
What a wonderful surprise to receive Moira's UA - thank you so much
I see the string investigating the green lines, finding out if they are the same species. It turns out they are mere imitations...
the twig could have been removed to enhance the picture further but I love the sentiment and the image that goes with it - all good fun Helen
Very well put and a good set-up for the shot, Helen
The string looks like a large cartoon mouth from the side, about to gulp those two green streams flowing into it
I like this, simple and effective, very well done, Helen.
Yes, simple, but a very effective presentation, Helen
Wonderfully subtle and original Helen.
I'm Green with envy here.
A clever title and an excellent composition.
