Today we drive to Essex to Margarite's Thanksgiving.
Having found cancer in her bowel, liver and lungs 15 months ago, she has had major operations to remove them and is now in respite. It was wonderful to see how well she was at Christmas.
We are all aware that the cancers are going to come back, but she has chosen this time to invite her friends and family to give thanks for these successful operations and for a period of feeling well.
The first of these images was of cool light and now we come to the warmth of the middle of the day.
I made three and I hope not to use the third for some time.
Many thanks to Bill for his User Award yesterday which I was thrilled to receive
Keep safe over the weekend with the expected deterioration in the weather
