Taken at 10am yesterday as I crossed the playground - [NB-always carry a camera]
I've never seen this shadow before - the time was spot on for symmetry of the fence and the delightful addition of the open gate. For those of you who are thinking "Won't the children escape"- it was open because a class of children were working just inside the park on the other side of it. Once they return it is re-locked.

An open gate is always a welcome, an invitation. The shadow of an open gate - well that becomes a whole lot more complicated. Intriguing shot, and I love the foreground symmetry with the irregular trees beyond.

Brilliant symmetry and I love that swathe of green; I also like the sky and to me it wouldn't work in any other colour!

Knew this was your's Helen - you have a great eye for symmetry. The grey sky is perfect too for the black lines and shadows.

That's a rare thing at the moment with all this grey, dismal, sunless weather we're having! A cracking shot, Helen, and well-timed to catch the shadow at just the perfect angle Wink
