Nice to see him after he's had a visit to the hairdresser, Helen! You've caught his expression well, and he's looking lovely. If it was my picture, I would crop in a lot tighter on the subject, and lose those background distractions, especially on the top left.

Very good dog portrait. The mods both miss the essence of this photo, which is that the dog is presented in a quasi formal way in front of that post, with everyday life in the streets peeping in from the background. The mods make this an ordinary shot. Your upload is far from ordinary and actually pretty good street photography. Best regards, Bert
