Difficult for anyone to critique a good image like this. composition I think is first class , takes the eye right through the picture. My comment would be that you have probably overcooked the post processing, it looks like you have overadjusted the levels, clipping pixels and losing tones. you wanted warm but it could be a bit more subtle. Thanks for posting.

Hello, Herbie. A wonderful aerial view. How often would you get a chance to photograph something like this? All the patterns and colours on the land, the winding river and the mist as well. However, I agree with Peter, there is a lot of noise throughout the image and the colours are a bit unnatural. Also, the water is too white in some areas. I doubt if the water had much colour in it to begin with, though, because of all the mist. I would have liked to have the original on which to do a modification, but made an attempt with the picture you have provided. I ran noise removal over it but could not remove it all without degrading it further. I desaturated a bit, adjusted focus, used the burn tool on the white water areas, then selected just the foreground area and did a levels adjustment to brighten it.

Really beautiful view and I agree the water does carry you through the scene.

Agree with Pamelajean, - its a great scene, but the colours are overdone and look overly red/yellow.
