Taken yesterday afternoon, as we were getting ready to knock off. Lit by the window only.

Quite like this, and i think i prefer the mono.

Does this count for shadow Saturday?

Al C&CS welcome

Thanks for looking

Den

I do prefer mono as well, Den. Fabulous shot, I like the non-appearance of the shovel in the dust cloud a lot! You get my ua today.

Quite a moody, atmospheric mono, Den. The disappearing brush and hidden rear leg add a touch of mystery.

(maybe clone out that top right corner for total effect)

Brilliant photo. Nice tight composition and full of activity/energy with dust cloud and definition on arms. Some photographers work hard to get this look in a studio! Well done Den. Mono for me as well.

He is certainly working in the shadows, Den!
The mono is better in my eyes, as a classic informal 'industrial' study; but the colour works surprisingly well. Both have captured the atmosphere very precisely - the dust is making me sneeze WinkWinkWink
I too would rather see the top right corner disappear . . .
Regards
Bill

Love the mono-version, but even v2. I think both can work better with just a bit more contrast and that top-right hand corner removed just as the others said. I modified the mono, would love to upload it if you enable modifications. Either way, you get my vote.
