Especially for all my frozen friends in the Northern Hemisphere Smile Last night we had an awesome sunset and I took photos of an Agapanthus against the red sky - had to use a flash to prevent it being a silhoette Smile Thanx for all your votes and comments on Beautiful Rose yesterday Smile

This is a very popular flower in Aussie. Complementary colours.
My choice is V2 with more detail. Well done. WesternRed.

What a lovely idea to use the sunset sky as your flower background, and use flash. I would find it hard to choose between the two, but for the clipped top of the flower in V1, so it's V2 for me, with all of the flower inside the frame.

This bloom head looks superb against that sunset sky, Herman: lovely colour contrast that works so well.
Of the two versions, V 1 appeals to me that wee bit more, but it's a close run contest.

Now you really are making me jealous!!!! I adore Agapanthus. The ones we have here are nice but small. I managed to bring some bulbs back from Madiera some years back and after three years they were wonderful. Then, hard winter they died. I was mortified. Now I have joined this I shall simply watch yours lol. Fantastic!!!
