Two yellow pincushion images - they are members of the Protea family.
Thank you so much for every vote and comment on yesterday's reflection upload - I was blown away by the response as I honestly did not expect to much of it Smile A special thanx to Kathryn, Ayoob, George, Steve and Lynnie for gracing the image with their UA's - I really do appreciate it.

Morning Herman, a bit cooler today with some cloud around.
I also captured some of these wonderful Protea's on Friday, they are one of my favourites. Just love the colour. A great set, well captured against the blue sky

Ooo...bee-yoo-tiful shots, Herman! I forgot about proteas and South Africa!!

Here we've had this thing for several years now called the Singapore International Garden Festival. This big indoor thing which happens every 2 years and there are exhibits from various countries. I remember so well the South African exhibit 'cos I was blown away by the proteas Smile

A bouquet which our daughter and her new husband gave my wide after the recent wedding contained three of these blooms, I'm sure it was them, although a but redder in colour.
Now I know what they are........they looked quite exotic amongst other more familiar flowers.
Excellent floral work, Herman.
