I took this photo at Lake Saint Lucia, KwaZulu Natal in July. Our tent was pitched less than 100 meters from them but in a safe place. Just love the noise these beasts make !

Great shot Herman. Agree about the noise they make - had a wonderful trip to Zambia a few years ago and were camped out by a river full of hippos
