I see this lovely lady every so often in town walking her pet whippet, for years now she has worn the same old battered hat.

Last Sunday was no exception, so a I plucked up the courage to request a portrait.

Her response, after a very slight hesitation, was this wonderful smile of approval..........I clicked the shutter......smile and character captured!
