I think we're growing apart

One of the old split trunk hornbeams in Hatfield forest on a very drab grey day, hence the nuclear sky. I preferred it to nothingness.

Fascinating trees at any time of year.

In the evening summer light one can almost imagine them walking on those two stump legs.
