Another from the Bridal Portraiture sesh with Damian Mcgillicuddy.
Window light to Charlie's left and softbox in front. The set-up looked pretty good without flash too. I wanted to make the most of the shadows from the late afternoon sun hence the low viewpoint and lots of floorboards Wink
Not much in PS other than a conversion in Silver Efx.
1/125 @ f4 ISO160.

ThanQ,
Howard

Truly beautiful - love everything about this from the contrast between the wooden floor and the softness of the model to the fact that I had to look twice to see that she wasn't putting ballet shoes on - it has a real elegant dance feel to it - you must be really pleased.

Thanks - that's nice feedback. I was about to comment to see if an EC with 0 comments was, in fact, a first Smile

The natural light was really lovely but the front-on softbox (Speedlight lit) really helped to add definition and contrast. My key learning is that it's not impossible to deliver shots with real impact on wedding days but there has to be an element of patience from the subject!!

Thx again and I'm really pleased about the EC. I've really been putting effort in in terms of courses and reading around the subject and hope my clients are happy with the output in the long term...
