Last shot of the day as we were winding up the training sesh. Snooted flash to front, a bare flash behind the sofa creating the rim light. Couldn't quite get square on :-( This is a crop of a wider shot but I like the direct look.

I feel personally if the windows had been underexposed a stop the rim light would have worked better, the snoot I find works but falls of below here face rather too rapid, maybe a reflector could have been used to softly light her from the chest down.
All in all it's a good image and one to be proud of, the setting is fantastic.
Looking at some of your other Black and Whites there is some stunning images.
