Great portrait , very natural expression.
Pertsonally I am quite happy with the narrow DoF - really emphasises the eyes and the texture on the whiskers

wonderful light and great timing on the wave capture.
I might like to see cropping off a bit of the left dark rocks and the top sky? Would take the horizon to the upper third and reduce the "heavy" weight of the dark rocks
