Hi chrisco Wink
lol you cracked me up lol
I think my only good answer would have been why not lol
but then again if you knew me in real life you would understand right away lol its more like this I could have shot this in my living room in my house very easy.. and just had a painting over the sofa of a sunset .. but the again anyone could make that shot lol..
so i decided to take the living room out to the desert lol
thats more me do it the hard way lol

Looks good to me. The poise, expression and eccentricity all work well together for an unusual result.

Pat on the back to you for doing it your way then! Wink.As you pointed out,I dont know you so had to take the shot at face value,I still gave it a click though because I know its a good image (even if I didnt get it.......).
Ps.,i'd already commented on one of your other shots,in a field, maybe I should have looked first........... Wink

lol chrisco im liking this shot myself even more and more.. the more i know it makes you scratch your head and ask why lol..
for a year now I have been trying to figure out how to set a ice cube on fire and make a photo of it lol just to make people scratch their head and ask how and why lol

in reality a lot of time there is no rhyme or reasons to my shots.. im very new with photography so most of this is just to see if i can do it and I learn from it Smile I just find my self getting very bored if i shot people in a typical studio setting.. I love painting with my lights. I spend very little time clicking a camera. i spend more time setting up the shot with lights and all then when i think i have it right I click about 10 photos and pack it up and go home lol

Captured that enigmatic J.V. look perfectly.
Geo.

It's totally you. I can always tell your images. With your shots one can't just click and run. I have to stop and check things out. To see if I really am seeing what I think I am. Like, that really is grass, 2 wine glasses, is that lamp on? Love it..........Sandy
