The beautiful All Saints Church, slightly modified with the help of pse 7 and redynamix.

I know there are halos but is an effect I went for ... Wink

The stonework of All Saints church was started by the Saxons, and some of this original stonework is still visible by the font. The wealth of Lydd enabled the church to be enlarged until it is now the largest of the churches on the Romney Marsh and is known as the Cathedral of the Marshes . The church tower was raised to 132ft high by Cardinal Wolsey in the 15th century.

I rather like this effect it certainly warms the image up quite dramatically, and in turn provides me with a rather nice comforting feeling inside. "Pity about the car though?"

Regards Nathan

I agree Nathan, but there is always one parked there, at least this was a smaller one than usual Wink

I may have gone for a slower shutter speed and smaller aperture but not sure that I would gained much on your fine historical record. A nice image a little bit different from the Norm.

I like the effect, it has something transparent, like Nathan I find the car a bit distracting .
Once I had to take a picture of a town hall and some flower arrangements. The fist day I was really trying everything... Grrrrr! They wouldn't move.
The next day I went there at 5 in the morning and put a flowerpot right where i needed the gap. Came back right for the decoration and got it.

Hi Annette, would love to have done that, but as they live in the little building on the right, somehow I don't think they would have appreciated me doing that Wink Grin

A great effect don't mind the car that much all part of today, as I said once before! remove the car, remove the Single yellow lines, and the sign posts, where do you stop! just like a re-enactment I saw out side a castle with double yellow lines lol. GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin regards Leon.
