Quote: A brilliantly timed shot. A shame it has a clump of grass and jessies around its feet, but you've captured it brilliantly! ![]()
thank you the kind comment, the clump of grass in its talons is from the strike on the Rabbit it just missed by a whisker, is you look closer you can see the line that pulls the rabbit, as you can imagine the rabbit is not alive but in this image i looks like its running but actually the Eagle has just bumped the rabbit up. ![]()

Great image of the bird. A beautiful display of its colours and shapes. Well done.
Quote: I think the grass adds to the story, great shot. What do you think of Rosliston Falconry?
Awesome, It allowed me to experience these Amazing Birds close up the Staff was very Friendly, and the place is brilliant even if your not paying to see the birds, there are lots of activities for all the family. its worth mentioning that when we went out to fly the birds the site manager who runs the place came out with us. brilliant bloke you can tell he loves his birds, then theres the Dr and lecturer of nottingham university very interesting and knowledgeable person. I could not Fault the experience at all. well worth the money.
Regards Roger.
The timing and exposure is perfect on all of the images. If these were my images though I would've cloned the leg straps out. This is why V1 is the stand out image as they aren't as visible. However this is only a tiny gripe, otherwise these are all EXCELLENT shots so well done mate!![]()
