A trio of beautiful variants of this most impressive example of English Architecture. Each very worthy of their own slot, however for me I think that the original takes some beating. Superb detail and clarity. Pity about the over hanging foliage.

I don't care for V2 and 3 if I'm honest. However V1 is excellent and you have done a good job in the processing to bring out the wonderful detail in the Hall. I'm just wondering, did you take any images of the hall at the top of the steps as the tree branches are covering the main subject?
Also, I'm not sure if its my eyesight but the image could do with levelling up a bit as it seems to be tilting to the right. ![]()

I see you have uploaded V5 which is taken from a better perspective. My first (minor) fault with V5 is that I would have probably cropped the sides off as they aren't needed and would have improved the comp a little bit. My second fault is you should've uploaded V5 on its own! I don't think you could've done anymore to the processing to improve it because the hall looks amazing! V5 is your best picture for a long time, so well done!![]()
The trees are too intrusive, but would be great as a framing element. V5 is by far the best shot. If you know how, you might try to straighten the leaning verticals, but uts an option, looks good as-is.
A click for V5.

Willie
A beautiful set of images all have their different looks, well done..Lin
well i am pleased to hear such a varied range of comments, all gratefully accepted. thank you all.
I would like to point out that at the point of taking these images i took some from varying angles. in this case i decided as my subject that i would use the image with the overhanging tree branch as a more interesting image than V5 as it had no other features to add to the composition. the over hanging branch gave a more interesting composition as it added to the manor house look from the front gardens. i will add another set of images without the overhanging branch with the manor house in full glory without any distractions at a later date. Again thank you all for your kind comments.
