Sorry to those who voted or commented on this upload yesterday but as Willie pointed out it had a huge yellow cast.
I've corrected this in camera raw.

This is a great capture Iain,i love the background effect caused by the dof ,its wonderful .Plus ,i like the way you have placed her in the frame allowing space on the right .
On looking large her left eye is in focus ,but the right eye seems slightly soft .Was she moving at the time.
Thanks Ollie i don't think the auto focus picked up claires eye i think it has focused on something else not sure what though.
lovely outdoor portraits, good skin tones and nicely composed.

the problem has been to low an F/stop mate.... making the DoF shallow, therefore making the focus look soft....try a slightly higher f/ number to bring the rest of her face etc into focus but leaving the background blurred
