Thanks for your feedback everyone.

It was a difficult image to get since the sun was only just out of shot to the left so I had to do some careful shielding of the lens to prevent flare.

NIce image Ian, I'm currently on a mission to do a similar sort of thing with Shutlingsloe off the Cat and Fiddle - and failing miserably so far!!

This is a really stunner so simple but it just works! one for a nice large canvas print i think, excellent shot! i've still to make it over to that side of the peak district, this makes me want to make more effort!
