I see it's fungi time again, with today being the Autumn Equinox, and I'm guessing this year will be a good one, what with all the damp we've had this year!
I've had a couple of looks locally and the signs are ripe, but this is an image taken a couple of years ago and I thought I'd play with it in Lightroom 2.
The idea behind the image was to show what could be done with reflectors, especially deep in woodland.
I've included a version showing the real situation with the light prior to getting the reflector out.

beautiful shot... hard to image that a fungi could be so darn cute and colorful... love the leafs for the back drop and the dof.
Nice opictures and I agree totally with you about reflectors (there's a couple of fungus images in my PF in which a reflector was essential).
One thought on this photo - I really like the leaves but think the highlight on the top right detracts from the subject, maybe a tighter crop below this "horizon" and down the left would help.
