I see it's fungi time again, with today being the Autumn Equinox, and I'm guessing this year will be a good one, what with all the damp we've had this year!
I've had a couple of looks locally and the signs are ripe, but this is an image taken a couple of years ago and I thought I'd play with it in Lightroom 2.
The idea behind the image was to show what could be done with reflectors, especially deep in woodland.
I've included a version showing the real situation with the light prior to getting the reflector out.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking. Smile

Ian

love the dof and the leaf behind the fungi looks like a little hand about to grab it.

beautiful shot... hard to image that a fungi could be so darn cute and colorful... love the leafs for the back drop and the dof.

Nice opictures and I agree totally with you about reflectors (there's a couple of fungus images in my PF in which a reflector was essential).
One thought on this photo - I really like the leaves but think the highlight on the top right detracts from the subject, maybe a tighter crop below this "horizon" and down the left would help.

must agree ...reflectors of some sort are essential...even if its only baking foil
